That fangirl feeling.

It was over lunch with [info]huahua and squealing over the guys intalking about the J-drama BOSS that I came to a startling conclusion.

How my fandom secret would look like if I ever did one. )

The opening sequence to BOSS looks more suited for a host club/bar drama, with everyone looking so suave and handsome and dangerous that you wouldn't believe it's the intro for a cop drama.

And this is random, but Basil has such a complete hero!crush on Lancia in the novel. "He is our comrade! Gentle, kind, strong-- THE PERFECT SAMURAI! /fanboys" XD

Look! In the sky!

From Sora no Otoshimono (That Which Fell from the Heavens). This series also happens to be making the news for another reason, although the general conclusion seems to be that it's yet another marketing ploy to entice viewers to buy the DVDs for the forbidden fruit, so to speak.

Personally, I think that more than one ambitious entrepreneur and a few other types would be standing in the streets armed with nets and arms wide open if those things are really fell from the sky. Although would you really want to wear them, after seeing them roost in trees and blast off into the sky trailing smoke like that? The only thing they haven't been shown doing yet is firing missiles, and I'm not so sure that they can't do that.

Taken from [info]daegaer: Take the first lines of your last ten stories and run each of them through Translation Party until they reach equilibrium, or until the program gives up on you. Post the results.

Reminds me of the aftermath of anything involving large amounts of alcohol. )

PLOTTY SPOILERS + FLAILING :DDDD )

In other news, looking over the Japanese text for the 七色のヘタリア動画を酒の勢いで歌ってみた or Hetalia Douga video has uncovered the fact that the term 萌えました actually does exist. o_O

How to work it into everyday conversation is another thing altogether though: "The brutal way in which the rugby players bonded moe'ed me so badly!" XD;

/is slaughtered badly by people who actually know how to use the term

I chu you buttchu! XD

'Buttchu' from an msn conversation with [info]theprerogative. Nobody else buttchu! :D

AKA the going home series. )

An extra to indulge my own UKJPN pairing. )

Random things that horrified me:
- And that's why. Just looking at the photos made my arteries go CLANGCLANGCLANG EMERGENCY EMERGENCY.

- Princess Diana shoujo manga, it actually exists. *flees from Prince Charles' psycho!eyes*

- Latest KHR chapter spoilers: Prince Charming stereotype is now CANON WTF

MAPLE!! DX

._.
Am currently comfortably closeted in a cubicle at Manga Kissa, waiting to go to dinner with my classmates later. I have a huge monitor in front of me, four walls around me and a comfy massage chair under me. I IS CONTENT. XD

Things that made me smile in the past hour:
- Pretty, pretty new KHR cards~

Yamamoto looks intellectual for once! :o Am very amused at Lambo's attempt to cook and the label of the bottle he's holding. And I honestly thought that Bianchi was Gojyo and was very puzzled until I took a closer look.

I really like it when mangaka was consistant in their character designs.

- Drunk UK is the strongest. XD I love how Poland thinks that France can be used as a talisman against UK and that it actually works until UK decides to hit the bottle and return. That last panel is pure AHAHAHA OH BOY YOU'RE GOING TO GET IT NOW XD

If England really does like to feel the breeze so much he should get along well with Italy, who seems to have similar issues with clothes at bedtime.

- I'm Italy and You're Germany

AHAHAHAHA BOINK BOINK BOINK GERMANY~~~~~ NUZZLE NUZZLE XD

I love the horrified look on the soldier's face in the second last panel and what he's thinking. "Not only was he able to tame them, he mastered their behavioral patterns!!"
Italy = a wild breed of fuzzy animal, yes. X3

- Poor, poor Canada! His presence is so weak that not even his pet bear remembers him! D: No wonder he's stoned half the time.

Canada's cry of "MAPLE!" reminds me of the England team's Happy London?! in Yakitate Japan. XD

...This somehow turned into a Hetalia fanpost. Heh.
._.
So [info]tsunayoshi was AWESOME enough to upload Tsuna Infinity #4 AKA the one where Tsuna looks better in that dress than Cinderella did.

Giggling like a maniac while browsing through it, I came upon a certain page and immediately thought, "I SHARE THE SAME BRAIN AS A DOUJIN ARTIST AHAHAHAAHHA MY LIFE IS COMPLETE."

...So only the basic concept same, execution different. But it's good enough for me! :D

Golden Mukuro, Silver Mukuro )

Now I leave you with America attempting to be diplomatic with China.
._.
So I stopped playing Crisis Core for a while and started in on Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology instead.

Playing this brings back memories~ I can still remember playing the original Tales of Destiny and Tales of Eternia on the PS1. :D I wonder if Namco will import the rest of the Tales series to PSP anytime soon, I wouldn't mind replaying them all over again.

The game is set in an AU with most of the Tales of series characters in it, and it's basically just an ENORMOUS series of side-quests. You advance the main storyline through completing the main quests highlighted. It's quite fun, you get to make your own character at the beginning and a wise-ass flying cat follows you throughout the game, dispensing advice and making some of the most adorable 'PANIC!!' faces ever. ♥ I feel like Card Captor Sakura with Kero-chan.

Then there are the random character skits which I absolutely LIVE FOR. One particularly memorable one was between Llyod and Reid, where they were talking about their free-form fighting styles.

Reid: You just know that if someone comes at you like nyuh you counter it like nyah!
Lloyd: Wait, like nyah? See, I'd counter it with wacha!
Reid: Wacha? What the heck is that?
Lloyd: Well, what the heck is nyah?
[After a few more lines of dialogue]
Lloyd: It's swelling up like 'Whoa' inside me!
Reid: It's like a 'Haaa!' inside me!

I DIED LAUGHING. XD XD Apparently the Yamamoto School of Good Speaking isn't limited to the KHR universe. XD

There was also a main quest titled 'Find Lloyd', and I honestly thought I had to look for this Lloyd and not this one. *sighs with disappointment*

And a random testament to how I am too easily amused: Dividing three by eleven on a ten-digit calculator and seeing the result made me giggle helplessly for a good while and then realize just what a sad, sad fangirl I am. T.T

And deeper and deeper we go

This is truly a day for fandom~ ♥

Am currently laughing my ass off at Hetalia, (official site here) because:
i. Russia is topping the world and loving it
ii. Anerica has laid claim on ownership of the Internet
iii. Southern Italy and France are waging the most epic and graphic foodfight EVER
iv. I am apparently Lithuania WHY.
But, perhaps it is because of this sort of personality that he holds the infamous record of having the highest suicide rate of the world. ToT

Falling into my fandom all over again

This post and this, so pretty. *_*

(The MukuHiba card in the first post looks like it'd make a great movie poster for some arty-angsty film with a title like 'Let The Rain Fall' in bold, dramatic font across it.

Also, TsunaKyoko makes me go AWWWW-so-sweet-my-teeth-ache. Ryohei looks suspiciously stoned in the second poster at the bottom.)

And now for something only locals would understand. Well, I think. )

So the other day [info]huahua and I went down to Manga Kissa (please be amusing yourself with engrish on site). The place was deserted save for one customer and the cashier, but that was to be expected since we went on a weekday afternoon. It's an extremely quiet place, perfect for cloistering oneself in one of the computer cubicles and taking a nap. It mostly stocks both old and new Japanese manga and magazines, with a really small selection of translated manga in Chinese and English. From what we saw, people mostly go there to surf the Net and work, with most of them bringing their own laptops.

Excellent toilets though. It says something about me that I think this is worth mentioning.
._.
"Bedtime Stories", yet another Adam Sandler comedy. It's a very short movie lasting about one and half hours, filled with lots of waff and fluff and all that makes the essential holiday movie. It was really sweet and a little predictable, especially the ending where I thought that things clicked into place a little too easily, but it's a holiday movie so meh. I guess the only really interesting bits were seeing how the stories were interpreted and brought to life in reality.

Overall, good for a first watch but not for a second.

I was trudging through 4chan the other day when I came upon this piece of fanart.

It shall henceforth be known as Tsubasa GOKUTSUNA Chronicles XD )

Edit: This post made me SQUEAL. OUT. LOUD.

TSUNA! SEME! SO FREAKIN' HOT AND BADASS AND IT'S OFFICIAL ART AND AJFSLDJFDSJFDLFJDSJFSL ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Edit of edit: So it's not official art after all? D: D: D: But it looks so close to the real thing!

Still loving the art anyway. Especially his/her 27x27 EEEEEEE ♥♥♥

The Baby Issue

This post was going to be about psychological contracts (sounds so very Mukuro, but it isn't, really), but this idea has been at the back of my mind for quite some time now.

So canonically Tsuna has this huge crush on Kyoko, which got me thinking about how it's said that boys grow up to marry women like their mothers.

The same applies for how girls will grow up to marry men who resemble their fathers. So in an AU, would female!Tsuna have a crush on Ryohei?

It's like the Sasagawa family was meant to join the Vongola either way. XD

....I'm stretching it, I know. I admit I just wanted an excuse to write Ryohei shouting this:

In an AU far, far away, female!Tsuna's water broke. )

Which got me thinking about a more common pairing. I apologize in advance if I happen to mangle the characters, but this was irresistible.

In another AU somewhere else, Shamal valiantly attempts to swim against a wave of sap and fluff. )

While I'm at it, this is crack OOC fic from a long time ago, inspired by 6996 crack!art from this site. As the artist has set the art section to be opened via javascript only, I can't give a specific link to the crack I'm talking about, so the best I can do is directions: pict --> ※はじめに。--> comic ●名前をつけよう! 1 /2 /3

In this AU, everyone flees from the 6996, but mostly from the 69. )

I make no excuses for myself, save for not wanting to think about lessons for a while.
