Taken from [info]daegaer: Take the first lines of your last ten stories and run each of them through Translation Party until they reach equilibrium, or until the program gives up on you. Post the results.

Reminds me of the aftermath of anything involving large amounts of alcohol. )

A friendly suggestion )

Asia's a pretty big place, huh.

New layout courtesy of [info]theprerogative. :D *sends you ♥ across the oceans* My personal name for this will be 'Sad Waiting Gokudera in Snow (when Spring returns, so will I)'.

Asia meme:
If you can survive to more than 60%, you're pretty far up along the percentile rankings. Yeah, that's like a D-/F borderline, but, this isn't about getting as much as possible. It's about discovering your inner Asian self. And no, you don't need to get at least a 90%, because you parents won't be seeing the score and this won't be counted towards or against your grades.
Tag some people and compare your asian-ness.

Singapore still isn't in China, BTW )

So I was reading 'The Villain's Guide to Better Living' (the book for dastardly evil-doers everywhere! :D) when this page caught my eye and made me think, 'I should totally show this to my Human Resources Management lecturer.' XD

On writing your resume )

So now you know what all those terms REALLY mean. XD

So I was playing around with this thing here. The site doesn't allow you to capture any of the data and I'm lazy to do screencaps, so you'll have to input the names in yourself to get the full results.

Byakuran: "Prove your strength to me."
Funeral Wreath guy: *strips down and jumps into magma onsen*
Byakuran: "Nice~ Okay, you're in! Here's a ring and five thousand slaves henchmen for you ♥"

And Yamamoto wakes up AFTER all the action is over. XD

Answers to the love letter meme.

Seeing as how there was only one request with four choices, I thought what the heck, let's do them all.

Dear, dear people )

One extra because I could not resist. )

I was reading this MukuHibaChrome fic from the Reborn general comm when I remembered seeing an online quiz related to past lives before.

So it seems that I was a, erhm, monk. )

Happy Chinese New Year!

  • Jan. 26th, 2009 at 10:16 PM
._.

My reunion dinner this year was brought forward a day to Saturday and we had it with relatives from my mother's side of the family.

I...I can't believe how much my cousins have changed. The last time I saw them they were scrawny little boys, and now they're huge men packing muscles everywhere. D: Give me back my cute little boys!!! D<<<<

How was your new year (if you do celebrate it, that is)? Hopefully all of you got to eat a lot, do lots of catching up with long-lost relatives and more importantly, got plenty of red packets! XD

Fandom stuff:
- Hetalia Ep1 is finally out! :D I thought 1:43 was especially epic. "PASTAAAAAAAA~~~~" XD XD

- China wishes everyone a happy new year as well, and would like Korea to stop calling him Auntie please.

- Taken from [info]vicious_lullaby:
You name a character (from a fandom I know), I write him - or her - a short love letter (confession). Then you do the same thing at your journal. Well, if you wish.

Letters will be posted in a separate entry.

Fandoms I'm currently into: Reborn!, Hetalia, Black Butler, Asklepios, Skip Beat!, Bakuman, Bleach, the Discworld, Change 123, Franken Fran, Sket Dance, Full Metal Alchemist (FMA), Antique Bakery, Hellsing, Higurashi, xxxholic. (I would put down Code Geass as well, except I'm only halfway through the first season and I'm afraid someone would ask a character I don't know about yet.)
Sleep little one
As a friend of a friend said, Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea can be summed up in a single word: innocent.

It's another simple Studio Ghibli production, about two hours long, and which I like to refer to as the Japanese version of The Little Mermaid, only with more amusing supporting cast and less singing. Seeing the hand-drawn animation and gorgeous watercolor backgrounds was a refreshing change compared to all the CG that recent animes have. The entire movie was just so pretty! ♥♥♥ And I loved all the characters, especially Lisa, the gutsy mother. Oh, and the wizard. Such a pathetic father. XD

There were a few gaping plotholes though, especially in the second half of the movie. Still don't understand just where did the saving the whole earth bit come in. But I wouldn't mind watching it again though. :D

Take the free personality test!

It-it's almost frightening how accurate this is. o_O

Posting this here for self-reference in the future. Will read through it later, when my eyes are not closing on me.

Soundtrack meme!

  • Oct. 1st, 2008 at 8:39 PM
._.
If your life was a movie, what would the soundtrack be?

1. Turn on your iPod, mp3 player, whatever
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button

The hills are alive, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES )

In other news, KKnM is taking pre-orders for 2009 anime calenders. Both of the Reborn ones look awesome, but I will most probably be ordering the A2 one, seeing how it's big enough to double up as a poster.
