Lazy lumps and vaguely filthy things

Hello people! I am, strangely enough, in a good mood today despite planning to hand in a half-done Maths assignment due today on Monday because Maths is and always will be my mortal enemy. Also, I do not have classes on Fridays and I'm too lazy to go all the way back to school to hand in an assignment I'm sure I'm going to get negative marks for.

But enough about school!

This article reminds me of the time an ex-colleague returned from her vacation to Japan and regaled us with tales of her experiments with the toilet in her hotel room. Basically the toilet was suppose to shoot up a jet of water to clean the user up after he/she was done with their business, and you could adjust the pressure of the water. No surprise what my ex-colleague tried to do then. Basically, it could be summarised as "Do not use the toilet when water pressure is adjusted to HIGHEST level". Oww....

The GROW series is strangely addictive. You'll need a flash player to actually play, but it's worth it. Turn on your speakers for background music and cheers/jeers when you complete a stage.

And now, for something really stupid that I found in my notebook of random writings from a long time ago.

You're the WHA? )

Whoosh, and it all comes out

My dad has finally found a job! o___O It's the security guard position he applied for a long, long time ago! Ah, but the important thing here is that he is finally out of the house and doing something productive instead of just lying in front of the TV and letting his brains rot away like mush! WOO-HOO! (insert happy happy dance here ~~~ ^__^ ~~~)

Oh, and we're getting a new Accounts lecturer starting tomorrow. The previous one was so bad at teaching that she only lasted 2 lessons (2 weeks) with us before going. Fear the power of student complains! Her handwriting on the whiteboard went from being mere graffiti straight to being modern abstract art, the kind you have to stand still in the same place and stare at it for a very long time while assuming a thoughtful, pondering and possibly constipated expression to understand. =_= During her second lesson half the class got up and left after the 30 minutes break given in between lessons, she was that bad. But I am surprised that the school managed to find another lecturer so quickly. Could they have hired back the previous accounts lecturer? If they have then I shall personally go up to the principal's office, get down on my knees, impress my head upon the ground and thank him from the bottom of my heart, because my previous lecturer was the one who made me decide to switch to an Accounts degree in the first place, he is THAT good.

Personally speaking, I highly doubt that any teacher can be worse than the one who just left. I hope I'm not jinxing myself here.

Manga-wise, I've been reading "Glass Mask". For an old comic, it's really good! The art may not be that great compared to today's artists (huge black eyes, some filled with sparkles for no reason, shining stars placed suddenly on a character's shoulder for no reason, SPARKLES invading panels for no reason, FLOWERS suddenly appearing the background again for no reason) but the story really draws the reader right in and makes you want to read more. I had planned to stop reading after downloading the first 5 volumes, but after that I got so obsessed with it that I just went right ahead and downloaded all the way up to volume 19. Hahaha, I have zero willpower.

Game-wise, I have stolen my brother's PSP and am currently on Valkyrie Profile. I messed up right from the beginning in chapter 1, but I shall still continue to plough ahead valiantly, if only to see more of the pretty pretty new CG movies added in the PSP version. If I were an artist, you would see this journal flooded with 4-panels between the characters now.

Yesterday saw me being surprisingly studious for once. Granted, I only concentrated on Maths, but Saturday had me studying more than I ever did on Thursday and Friday combined. Which just goes to show how much I actually study in the first place (on a scale of 1 to 10, -5 actually). -_-;;;

Tomorrow's another day!
